WHAT WE BELIEVE
§ the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.
§ there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.
§ in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
§ in the blessed hope—the rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming.
§ in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
§ the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
§ regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
§ in water baptism by immersion.
§ the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
§ the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
§ in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
OUR VISION
We as a church have a vision of what we believe God wants us to be and do. That vision includes an emphasis on the following areas:
Acceptance
We welcome every person, regardless of age, ethnicity, or economic status to be loved, and ministered. We pray that our atmosphere will be pleasant, warm and attractive to God and people.
Fellowship
We are a body of caring and friendly believers loving God, each other and our community. We desire to encourage and strengthen each other through a variety of activities and ministries.
Worship
We declare ourselves to be vessels of God’s honor and glory to worship the One True God in spirit and in truth. Worship that is energetic, joyful, reverent and contemporary — totally focused upon the Lord, allows the Holy Spirit to manifest His presence and power, producing miracles.
Discipleship
We are practical, in our Bible-based preaching and teaching that touches every age and life-situation resulting in Christian growth and involvement in the local church.
Ministry
Every believer and worshiper needs to be a worker, well equipped through good training, inspired and encouraged to accomplish ministry in a spirit of excellence.
Evangelism
We aspire to be a community lighthouse, effectively reaching the families of our neighborhood with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We pray every believer will have a burden for the lost and a willingness to share their faith boldly.
Missions
We envision a church with a burden for a lost world, aggressively supporting ministry across our country and around the world by praying, giving, and sending out individuals called to ministry.
